Born and raised in Manila, Mau Mauricio relocated to New York and Los Angeles after receiving a degree in Business Management. His first exposure to photography was at the age of six, when he discovered his uncle’s dark room. After several years in corporate life, his transition to photography was sparked by his wife, gifting him his first camera in 2008 and completion of film photography classes for two years in Orange County, CA.

Mau Mauricio is currently based in Manila and travels extensively for work around Asia and North America. He was a recent guest photographer for Asia's Next Top Model season 2 and his works both advertising and editorial have been published in Harper's Bazaar Malaysia, Esquire Malaysia, Fashion TV Indonesia, Architectural Digest Spain, Interni Magazine Italy, Exclusive Venezuela, among others.
